Our Advanced course is based on the UK Police system of ‘roadcraft’, designed to provide the maximum amount of consistent quality training to identify every perceivable habit that you may have unknowingly picked up over the years or months since you past your full test. A full rider analysis will be provided, giving advice and correctional procedures to enable the rider to achieve consistent improvement. Some of this will be by means of the latest technology in intercom systems providing immediate feedback in real time. Riding in a progressive manner with smooth and accurate road positioning will always ensure that you are in the right place at the right time for any event that may occur. Your enhanced observation skills will astound you after the course and the smallest of changes in road positioning will ultimately make you as safe as possible.

Once you have your learner licence the journey of progressing to the highest level possible to become a safe and responsible rider really begins. These rides are specifically tailored to give the rider the benefit of putting into practice all the observation techniques and control aspects of their bike during an open road ride with the emphasis on total enjoyment and the personal satisfaction that their riding skills have been fine tuned. Obviously the odd beverage and usual tall stories will undoubtedly prevail during the evening. Accommodation is included in the price and is always good quality B&B.

CBTA – Competency Based Training and Assessment

What is CBTA?

CBTA is a training and assessment option which allows the rider to progress to a restricted and or full licence without the need to take the practical test for restricted or full licences.

The training aspect is not a requirement, but to ensure that you have the relevant skills and knowledge to pass the assessment, we would highly recommend a training course to provide you with the skills to progress to your ultimate goal of obtaining your licence.

Benefits of CBTA and Training:

• This option can reduce the time required to obtain your restricted and or full licence.
• The training course with Stu will ensure that you are well prepared for the assessment but more importantly this will give you a skill base that if you apply to your everyday riding will keep you safe.

CBTA Training Course:

This course is designed to give you all of the skills that the CBTA assessment requires. The training will be completed on a one to one basis with Stu as this will provide you with complete attention to your needs and requirements in order to achieve a positive outcome when completing the CBTA assessment. The use of rider to rider radio communication will provide instruction in real time giving excellent results. The benefits of this training will not only help to achieve the ultimate goal of getting your licence but it will set you up with the core skills and abilities to make you an extremely safe and progressive rider throughout your riding lifetime.

Course duration:

Every rider is different and their individual needs and requirements vary accordingly and as such it is important to provide each person with a training programme tailor made for the best results and in order to ensure this, the course will always be on a one to one basis.

Initially an hours assessment is used to gauge where the student is with their riding and skill level and an appropriate training programme is then provided. Riding packages can be constructed on a personal basis to give the best value for the student.
